Appearance

Don’t expect massive colas with this one because TB Runtz cultivates dense grape-shaped nuggets of THC dynamite that will blow you away. It will grow a few chunky colas, supported by big bunches of popcorn olive green flowers covered in resinous trichomes. The flowers will develop thin orange hairs with attractive purple undertones as the leaves form layers of crystal-covered trichomes.

Performance

This US hybrid will impress with its large yields for a relatively small size. The plants will reach a maximum indoor height of 130cm, and outdoor will stretch up to 180cm. Indoors, TB Runtz will yield a harvest of up to 500 grams per square meter and outdoors of up to 450 grams per plant. Either way, you will need plenty of storage jars for this one.

TB Runtz: Growing

It can be challenging to grow this US strain, but it has the potential “best in tent” appeal and will likely outperform any other plant in your grow tent. The plant will grow quite bushy and is unsuitable for SCROG (screen of green) and sensitive to nutrients during the flowering stage, but it has good resistance to stress, pests, and diseases. Some growers have also reported that TB Runtz performs better under high-powered sodium lights. This one might be for more experienced growers, though not to discourage the novices, because you have to learn somewhere, and TB Runtz could be the perfect place to start. You might also consider growing plants with similar traits to this plant, like Zkittlez.

Effect

Despite being a 50/50 cannabis strain, it comes on strong with a racing head high, then calms down into a relaxed state, not far removed from sleeping. Beware of couch lock with this one. It can be so relaxing you don’t want to move for hours. The only thing that will get you going again is the munchies. Overall, TB Runtz has an uplifting, energetic, and happy high.
